We are proud to announce the commissioning of state of art, 100% indigenised Fire Fighting Training Facility (FFTF) by the Indian Navy on 11th October 2024. FFTF imparts realistic training for fighting fire to Naval personnel onboard ships. It is an independent facility that consists of a 3 Deck Ship Like Structure, Underground Propane Yard, Water Hose Training Range, Water storage, Handling & Purification System and associated Civil Works. The Simulator comprises of 05 most fire prone areas of the ship - Engine Room, Machinery Control Room, Galley, Mess Deck & Helo Deck. Fire is simulated in these exercise areas and monitored & controlled by a PLC based centralized control system. The safety and monitoring systems and algorithms of the FFTF are in accordance with DIN 14097 and NFPA guidelines.
